I was angry at Autumn until I remembered booties were a thing. And then I put booties on and remembered that I don’t ever wear heels, and got angry again. It’s been a wild ride of emotion the last several days, but there has been a glistening, beautiful, soft, pleather lining through all of it.

I’m talking about this skirt, ya’ll. It’s plus size pleather perfection. As are my incredible alliteration skills.

I bought this skirt about a month ago when I ordered my new favorite jeans. It’s from the Serena Williams line and in some weird corner of my brain I have definitely imagined that my purchasing this skirt is what created the energies that would bring her and Drake together. Even if it didn’t bring them together, I just love Serena Williams so much that I had to try out her line. The skirt has the softest most comfy fabric on the inside lining that makes it feel like you’re not wearing a strange sticky pleather material at all. I was really pretty surprised that I liked a piece with this much structure to it, but it feels much more casual and free on my body than it appears.

I’m envisioning myself wearing this skirt with tights and boots and a cute crop top turtle neck or some other kind of snuggly sweater this winter. Patting myself on the back for this purchase. Good job, past Corissa. You really nailed it.
