Nothing To Wear

This shirt is a total lie. I have a closet full of clothes and I have no clue what to do with them. I’ve hit some weird kind of fashion writer’s block and all I want to do is wear black leggings and this cool faux leather jacket. Is it just that time of year? Am I just finding out that wearing all black is kind of cool? Am I having my first goth moment?

I was needing a little inspiration so we decided to shoot in front of this great art space. I went home, took stock of my closet, and organized everything into wearable, versatile outfits that I can throw on at a moment’s notice. In the summer it’s so easy to just throw on a dress and get moving, but in the fall and winter it feels so complicated to put together sensible shoes, pants (or god forbid find tights that fit comfortably), and a shirt or sweater. And then you have to think about what kind of coat you’re going to wear too! When I’m running out for breakfast with my bestie, or going to dinner with Nate I don’t want to think about it that hard, so having some pre-planned outfits will be a great solution, I hope!
