Fat Girl Meets Fall Fashion

Look at those leaves at my feet! Aren’t they just beautiful? They remind me that Autumn is not just the calm before the horrifying winter storm, it is also a time where I get to fall in love with colors that I never wear which is pretty cool! I get so nervous about fall fashion, because I feel so comfortable in my nude lip and short dress summer combo. But this year I’m going to try not to fight my love of fall colors and go all in. I’m going to try new things. I’m going to wear the dark lipsticks that I think everyone else looks so stunning in, and I’m going to wear as much (or as little) black as I please! Fall is fun, damn it! And I am here to have fun!

Also, I may cut my hair. This mop is getting out of control and I could definitely stand to take off five inches. After all, if I’m going to be wearing vampy lipsticks everyday, I’m going to need to create some extra time in my beauty routine and cutting down on hair time is the perfect solution!

So to recap, we’ve got some Fall fashion goals! I’m going to step out of my comfort zone and wear colors that I’m not used to. I’m going to try more lipsticks because they’re cool and I think other people look cool in them so why can’t I be cool in lipstick? I CAN! And I’m possibly going to chop my hair off and free myself from the existential crisis that comes from being perceived as super feminine just because I have long hair.

I know, this post was all over the place. I’m very sorry about that. I promise I’m trying to get it together and remember how to blog after my semi-hiatus.
